Rats

Rats are actually just as intelligent as average dog

They are actually incredibly clean 

The bubonic (black) plague was actually not caused by rats, but by fleas on rats. 
Rats are actually known to clean selves really well, when the are not sleeping or eating

Rats make great pets


When playing with them, you have to be fairly careful not to roughhouse with them, or to pull them by their tails.
