Snakes

The Garter Snake eats primarily insects, namely big night crawlers. Its biggest potential threat are skunks.

The Milk Snake got its name by playing dead and releasing milky substance which smells rotten.

The Ball Python is called a constrictor. It kills its food by squeezing the life out of them.

Snakes can shed their skin every few meals so that they can continue to keep growing.

The most venomous snake is the Brown Taipan which has  enough venom in one bite to kill 15 grown men.

The longest known snake in world is a 35ft female reticulated python.

Adrian College had a 22ft reticulated python with a tendency to want to escape.
